The class has done some artwork from a local painter Martyn Evans. First we had to pick a design to copy and sketch it out, then we had to colour it in, but we didn’t colour it in any old way, we coloured it in with OIL PASTELS! It was so much fun. We also had tools which were to help get in to small corners and they helped alot. I was glad I got to draw and colour in a Martyn Evans style picture!

On Wednesday 27th March the class had to make pulley systems in pairs. I worked with Ffion. We could use a pulley system set and recycled materials and string, sellotape/sticky tape and scissors.

Today the whole class went to the Persimmon site in Rhos, we went there to see how the houses are designed and also how they are built . At first we had to put on wellies and hard hats. Then,They gave us a tour of the site and it was so muddy! At the end of the tour we went into our friend Oscar’s new house that was being made. When we were about to leave the site we gave our hard hats back to the builders and then they gave us goodie bags to say thank you for visiting the site. In the bags there was a leaflet, A pen, a squishie and also a Keyring.

On Friday 15th of February we went to  St John’s church to do a Mock Baptism. We had to dress in very posh clothes, the boys had to wear suits and the girls had to wear dresses. I was a godparent which was very fun and interesting. We went through the whole ceremony and I had to hold the baby at one point which was so fun! At the end we had a lovely buffet which was so delicious!

Today we had three very kind people who came into our school to show us some of the robots that one of the men had made. They showed us 2 different robots called Katt and Mascot, they were very cool!!  Firstly  the man gave us a talk about the robots and what we would be doing. Then we decided which group we wanted to be in and we set off in that group doing our activity. After lunch we sat on the carpet and he read us a page of information. After that the man got out a robot called Mascot and some of us got to control him. Finally the man got out the big 8 FOOT ROBOT called Katt. Katt is short for katashtrophe.

I really enjoyed today!!

Today the juniors had a Christmas concert in the hall. We had  to wear our party clothes to school. I wore a red Christmas jumper with a reindeer on it. It was  such fun, I really enjoyed it!

Last week we made our robot masks for us to wear during our robot dances. I was partnered with my friend Ruby so we had similar masks.  First me and Ruby both painted the left side of our masks black and the other side white. Then we both drew gold spots with a gold sharpie. After that we put silver, blue and pink gems around the mask. Finally, we Wore our masks and enjoyed performing our robot dance!!

This term we went to The Sony factory in Pen-Coed. We went around  the factory learning new skills. They showed us different types of cameras and showed us how they make raspberry pi’s out of ROBOTS!!I really enjoyed this trip!

Today all of the Juniors had a Christmas party in the hall. we had party food, played games and danced. We got to wear party clothes ( I wore a red jumper).

I really enjoyed parting and having fun!! 🎅👗🎄🎶

Last week we went to Tesco to entertain people while walking in to Tesco. Me and my friend were playing brass instruments , some of my other friends were playing the violin, and the majority of my friends (including me)  were in the choir. We had so much fun although I was a bit chilly!! I would like to thank Mrs Cooper and Mrs Cole for taking us to Tesco to perform. Also I would like to thank all the people that donated money to the school!!
