On 22nd of May year five six had a trip to Llangranog which was about 90 minutes to get there. As soon as they got there they went to their rooms and unpacked then went for lunch. The first activity was zip wire and lots of the people enjoyed that activity. A couple of the Rhos primary boys and other school boys enjoyed the astro for football a lot of there spare time they went there. They were asked to bring money so that the could buy drinks, chocolate, Llangranog bottles and some toys! The second day they experienced the air bag, low ropes, muddy assault course, bob sleigh, skiing, horse riding, trampolining etc… the last thing of the night we watched a movie! For the last day they did did high ropes!
well being Wednesday !
This Wednesday year 5/6 started a new activity called Well being Wednesday and this week we were practising tennis. Mrs Cooper set out a challenge who could bounce the ball on their racket as many times as possible and the winner did it with an incredible 174 hits! 🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾🎾
Y5/6 made pulleys!
Two days ago year 5/6 made their very own pulleys with scrap materials e.g plastic bottles and containers. Some of the pulleys were very good for example William, Rocco, Calum and Liam. Mrs Cooper said she was going to have a vote who could make the best pulley 1st place would have 15 Dojos, 2nd place would have 10 Dojos and 3rd place would have 5 Dojos. So in 1st place was William, Rocco, Calum and Liam’s group, 2nd place was Ffion and Charlotte and in 3rd place was Thomas James Bevan and Noah.
Questions for Mr Stone
Yesterday morning year 5/6 had a visitor who was the owner of Oakwood theme park and asked him some questions about the park. a lot of the answers were very interesting for example ” ‘Speeds ‘ top speed is 62 mph” children with surprised faces said ” That’s very interesting!”
Maths club
Today pupils of Rhos Primary school will be going to Cwmtawe maths club for their 2nd time!
