Last week,we did a ICT lesson on a bar graph of how much technology we used during a week. Most of us had over 10 hours of ICT during a week.
Last week, years 5-6 created tables o how much ICT they used each day over the course of a week.
First we created a table on word to create our first draft.
After that, copied it onto word with a graph and we made up. facts about the graph.
Finally we printed the graph.
Year 6 have hosted a fundraising event in their yard. This event took place at 11:00 yesterday.
The class has already made £167.50 with lots more to come.
The picture was taken by The class teacher Mrs Cooper, she supported this event by cheering the class on along with Year 4 5. The boy in the photo is Thomas Norling he has built up his skills from going to Afan Agoed weekly, he has also visited Morzine, Les Gets and Bike Park Wales (BPW).
A week ago we did a simple experiment on how light travels and how we did that was we got three pieces of card and we cut one hole in each piece of card then we used blue tac to stick the pieces of card down but the holes had to be central for it to work and then we got a torch and shone it through the holes and we found out that light travels really fast and in a straight line
2 weeks ago on Friday we won the FA cup we had 97.9% out of 100%
I went up with my friend Tom N and I held the cup and Tom N help the certificate
On Tuesday me and some of my peers had guiding reading. We used our deductive skill to read a poem by Alfred Tennyson. It was called the eagle.
This guided reading session will improve our deductive skills
We learnt new words and phrases such as azure and souring
Last Friday a CSO witch means committee social officer talked to us about knife crime.
We made posters about knife crime.
Last week Rhos Primary had a visitor who taught us about CPR me and my friend had to pretend one of us was on the floor and the other person had to put them in a recovery position on the floor.
Year 5 and 6 took part in a fundraising event today.
So far, the class did an incredible job of raising £167.50 – and even more to come!
These funds will help us buy wet play equipment (which was decided by our pupil council).
