Rhos Primary is situated in the semi-rural village of Rhos on the edge of the Swansea Valley and is approximately 2 miles above the town of Pontardawe. Our school serves the areas of Delffordd, Maes-y-Cornel, Cae Rhedyn, March Hywel, the new housing development Allt Y Celyn and the hamlets of Cilybebyll and Gellinudd.
The immediate environment of the school is farmland, hillsides and valleys. Together with the schools large playground and grassed areas this helps give the school its unique character and culture.
Pupils from Rhos Primary School will usually move on to Cwmtawe Community School after Year 6, a short distance away in Pontardawe.
